Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Legitly mobile application (the "App"), operated by Obzena ("we", "us", "our"), located in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Legitly is — and is not

Legitly is an AI-powered authenticity pre-check tool. It analyzes photos you provide and returns an AI-generated read on how consistent the visible markers are with a genuine item, along with findings and suggested next steps.

Important: Legitly does not provide a guaranteed, certified, or definitive authentication. Results are informational guidance only and may be incomplete or wrong, especially from limited or unclear photos. High-quality counterfeits exist and may pass a photo check. Do not rely on Legitly as your sole basis for a purchase, sale, or valuation. For high-value items, obtain a professional, in-person authentication.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding agreement to use the App.

3. Subscriptions, purchases and billing

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions and/or one-time purchases that unlock premium features. Current options and prices are shown in the App before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings on your device. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
A one-time purchase, where offered, grants the specific access described at the point of sale and is not a recurring subscription.
Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: using it for unlawful purposes; attempting to bypass security, access controls, or usage limits; reverse-engineering or interfering with the service; or submitting content you have no right to submit. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for misuse.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos you submit. You grant us a limited license to process those photos solely to provide the analysis you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any photo you upload.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to brand names of third parties referenced in the App.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services (including Apple, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and OpenAI) to function. Your use of the App may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or reliable, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS arising from your reliance on the App's results or from any purchase, sale, or valuation decision you make. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
